Christian, also known as Antidote, is a visual artist and graphic designer who works in 3D design, abstract typography, and material creation. He started out in fine art, focusing on abstract sculpture and painting, before moving into graphic design during his first year at university. During the first COVID-19 lockdown in the UK five years ago, he began teaching himself 3D design and has been developing that style ever since.
Originally from the UK, Christian has spent the last three and a half years living in Berlin, Germany. Working as a freelance designer primarily within the Music, Fashion and Art industries.
Design has always been his way of expressing ideas that are hard to put into words. Being dyslexic, writing never came naturally, but visual work did — it became a language that made sense. His early love of design came from seeing graffiti while travelling, admiring how letters could be imperfect but exciting and beautiful, breaking traditional strucutre and form to create works that only need to make sense to those who wanted to take the time.
But at the end of the day, his goal still remains to “Make it F*kin Shiny.”
